July 2008. Robyn Anderson, student of Joan Myrthue and caretaker of her warmblood dressage horse "Baby Ichiban", joins Reitsport Photography as sales assistant and apprentice photographer. I've also upgraded to the Canon EOS 1D Mark III, an awesome camera, especially for indoor action/sport photographer.
February, 2008. Joan Myrthue, assistant photographer, will now be helping on a part-time basis, as she has taken a full-time position as a rider with the touring World Famous Lipizzan Stallions show. We'll miss Joan's assistance and enthusiasm, but are happy that she has this once in a lifetime opportunity to ride some wonderful horses.
July, 2007. Assistant Photographer added to Reitsport Team. Joan Myrthue, FEI dressage rider/trainer, has joined the Reitsport team as assistant photographer. Joan takes an occasional break from showing and training horses, and with her eye for correct dressage helps provide photographic coverage of additional arenas. She also helps in the sales department -aiding customers in at-event proof viewing. Joan's addition to the team helps Reitsport provide better service to our customers.
September 1, 2007 - I now shoot in RAW format, with a small .jpg file uploaded to Photoreflect.com for on-line viewing. RAW format allows a greater ability to modify images prior to printing (lighting, color, sharpness). While some proofs may appear underexposed, they can lightened significantly. A sample is shown below. If you have questions about a particular image, please contact me.
All photographs are printed at a professional photo lab using quality FujiFilm technology.
